One of the great curiosities of religious art, this large fresco depicts either the descent of the fallen angels into the fiery pit or something else altogether. One scholar has even suggested it may represent an early form of celestial break-dancing. Vatican art historians deny this, claiming that they are legitimate angels who are simply ass-ending into Heaven.
